The No Roads Expeditions Foundation would like to invite you and your friends to attend the 2009 No Roads Charity Ball on Friday November 6th, 2009.

Over the years, No Roads Expeditions and many of its clients, has helped hundreds of local villages in PNG (particularly along the Kokoda Track) and helped save the environment for our children's generation, particularly in Indonesia.

The No Roads Expedition Foundation is a not for profit charity, chartered to assist communities in Developing Nations, to protect the environment for generations to come and to give its local employees, employment and experiential opportunities not avaible to them where they live.

This year, all money raised at the Charity Ball will help fund the following three projects:

  1. The Kokoda Track Foundation (KTF)
  2. The Australian Orangutan Project (AOP)
  3. The International Porters Exchange Project (IPEP)

The KTF is a not for profit organisation chartered to improve the lives of those that live along the Track. The KTF funds scholarships for secondary students, provides much needed medical facilities and medical staffing in this remote area. Want to know more about the KTF?

The AOP is an Australian based charity, chartered to protect the environment in which the Sumatran and Borneo Orangutan live. Their projects protect rainforest from deforestation, care for orphaned Orangutans and reintroduce Orangutan back into the wild. Want to know more about the AOP?

The IPEP gives Porters from all over the world the opportunity to travel to other countries and participate in expeditions as a client. This enables them to meet other Porters, to share experiences and learn new skills from people that do their job in another location on the planet. Want to know more about the IPEP?
