Climate Positive is a not-for-profit organisation
established to assist individuals, families, businesses and policy
makers to understand and take action on climate change.
Their website 'went live' in December 2006 - but the project was first initiated in early 2005.
Climate Positive is comprised of a team of professionals with a long history in the field of environmental research, renewable energy industry development and ecological protection and restoration.
Their team includes climate scientists, researchers, botanists, horticulturists, landscape architects, weed control specialists and environmental engineers.Climate Positive staff are united in their love of the natural environment and concern about the stress ecosystems are under due to climate change.
Climate Positive's revegetation and tree planting projects are managed by Australian Ecosystems PTY LTD, one of Australia's largest and most reputable ecological restoration companies. Over the past decade Australian Ecosystems has collected seed, grown and planted over 15 million trees, grasses, shrubs and aquatic plants with 97% survival rates for all plantings undertaken.
