If you wish to stay at Rimba Lodge rather than our klotok, this can be arranged. Give us a call to discuss this arrangement.

ORANGUTAN
Orangutans are highly intelligent with ability
to reason and think. This large, gentle red ape is one of our closest relatives,
sharing 97% of our DNA. Indigenous peoples of Indonesia and Malaysia call this
ape "Orang Hutan" literally translating into English as "People of the
Forest".
The Orangutan is a remarkable creature as it is the world's largest arboreal primate (its main mode of locomotion is through the tree). Now faced with the possibility of extinction in the wild in the foreseeable future the No Roads dossier provides some interesting facts about the habits of orangutans and their chances of survival.
SUPPORT
By joining our expedition you will be directly
supporting the organisations that are chartered to protect the habit and lives
of the Orangutan. AUD$100 of your expedition fee will be donated to the
Australian Orangutan Project (AOP). If you would like to know more about them
please click here.
TRIP EXTENSIONS

insight into this amazing country. Tours of Bali start from AUD$45.
We also have some great accommodation options as well. Click Here to see more details of these trips, or find more details in the Dossier above.
