Mount Feathertop Winter

  • WW2
  • WW3

Background

Mount Feathertop is Victoria's second highest peak, and arguably the most spectacular! It is commonly used as a training hike for those heading off on bigger trips it can usualy be summited and back to the car in a day. In winter though, Mount Feathertop becomes a whole diferent experience. Alpine areas require a huge range of skills and experience to be safely navigated during the winter months, we believe that anyone should have the pleasure of experiencing place like this, which is why we use our experience to enable you to get out there safely! After hiking up the classic Bungalow Spur, we'll camp out in the snow, in a nice sheltered spot, but be based at a site with a large hut to cook and relax in comfort in the evening. The following day, we'll start early, make our bid for the summit, and then head all the way back down.
